Chris Buckingham; General Manager Gippsland Tourism

The role of General Manager Gippsland Tourism is to work in conjunction with the six Gippsland Local Governments and the tourism sector in developing and implementing strategic tourism initiatives, the identification and facilitation of new tourism products and infrastructure and liaising with key industry and government stakeholders including Tourism Victoria and Parks Victoria. Chris will play a key role in developing a range of tourism and investment opportunities, ensuring the region maximises its potential as a sustainable destination in a competitive and ever changing market place. Chris is also the newly appointed Chairman for Destination Gippsland Inc. Campaign Committee.
