What is the Latrobe Tourism Advisory Board?
Latrobe Tourism Advisory Board is an official committee of Latrobe City Council. The Board’s purpose is to provide:
- Advice to Council on policies and strategies for furthering the development of tourism within Latrobe City.
- Advice on community concerns, expectations and needs regarding the effectiveness of tourism services, coordinated by Latrobe City Council.
- An avenue for consultation and exchange between Council and the community in relation to tourism issues and
- Representation of the viewpoint of the Latrobe City tourism industry on related issues.
The Board meets on the first Wednesday of each month and reports to the Council on an annual basis.
