Morwell Centenary Rose Garden

Stop and smell the roses at the internationally recognised Morwell Centenary Rose Garden. Stroll through four acres of imaginatively landscaped gardens where over 100 beds are home to more than 3000 roses. Gravel paths lead through a picturesque arrangement of a professional selection of 400 varieties of roses including hybrids and traditional favourites.

The garden also features a central gazebo surrounded by different garden beds which is an ideal place to say “I do”. Other garden features including tall, decorative climbing frames, a pergola, tunnel archways and dry wells offer a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos, a recital or musical performance.

The Morwell Centenary Rose Garden is a source of community pride and an example of what can be achieved with hard work and determination. In 2009, their hard work was acknowledged when the garden was presented with an Award Of Garden Excellence by the World Federation of Rose Societies.

The Morwell Centenary Rose Garden is free to the public and is open all year with best viewing from November to April. For more information visit their website.
