Walhalla & Mountain Rivers Trail
This drive takes you through some of Victorias most spectacular scenery on the way to Walhalla, once one of Australia’s richest gold towns. A trip on the Walhalla Goldfields Railway is a must, as well as exploring the township, nestled in a deep, steep sided and mysterious valley which now is home to only 18 permanent residents. With the famous Rotunda, Cricket Ground and Mechanics Institute, you can also experience history at its living best, or take a tour of the Walhalla Long Tunnel Extended Gold Mine to see how life once was.

Wildlife Trail
Experience Gippsland’s coastal route, over 300km of natures splendour. Encompassing five national and coastal parks of major significance, its combination of wild oceans, dunes, inter-tidal mudflats, mangroves and rainforest are a source of fascination and pleasure for the visitor. Driving along the wildlife trail will enable you to travel along side the splendour of the Gippsland Lakes system south to Wilson’s Promontory along the pristine expanse of the Ninety Mile Beach with its prolific bird life and abundance of nature. Strzelecki Trail
Route 94 marks the scenic drive through Latrobe Valley into the Strzelecki Ranges, through villages, past manicured farmland to magnificent forests. With two distinct loops, following route 94 will take you past Loy Yang power station and open mine, to the splendour of Tarra-Bulga National Park, famous for its dense mountain gullies, suspension bridge, Cyathea Falls and wildlife. Route 94 will lead you past the warm waters of Hazelwood Pondage, great for all year round water sports, past galleries, to the ‘Mural’ town of Mirboo North. Stroll through this country town to enjoy the many murals, painted scenes of days gone by.
