While the Latrobe City and the wider region of Gippsland are not know as wine producing regions there are several boutique wineries producing unique, hand crafted wines. Taste local produce while sampling your wine or dine in one of the wineries restaurants over looking the vineyard. Don’t feel like driving home, then stay overnight. Some of the wineries have on site accommodation, or you could stay in a local bed and breakfast.
